I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT (350D) , i also want to get a film camera. Which one can i get so i can?
use the lenses from my XT on them both?
Also, is it normal to get a lot of noise in long exposure night pictures with digital?
I like the elan 7 series of canon camera for film. They have a few more features than the rebel series and are not that expensive.

I would guess a 35mm Rebel should also take the same lenses as the digital–take a lens with you to make sure. As for the other, no. Make sure your lens doesn't have dust on it, check the area (sometimes there are lights you don't notice) and make sure you use a tripod.

Not if the lens is the EF-S (made for smaller sensor)–as its coverage will not "fit" the full frame of a film camera. Mount is physically the same though.

If a lens has DC in its title, and or written on the lens it won't be compatible with a film SLR. I have a 350D and a 300 Rebel (film)
Only 2 of my four lenses are compatible on my film

How about a Rebel K2?
It's the film equivalent of your Rebel digital, and everything should be interchangeable.
And, yeah … you're going to get noise with long exposures at night – no matter what ISO setting you use.

Make sure the Anti Noise is turned on in the menu, when the exposure is over 1/2 a second or so the camera will take a blank exposure of the same duration with the shutter closed, and subtract the noise generated from the second exposure from the first, really works well.
