   The Digital Rebel/Kiss/EOS-300D is a great camera. It is base on the Canon 10D. The picture quality is better than most camera in it range. This camera is a good starting point to go into DSLR.

   Make sure that you read the manual carefully. Most complain that I saw come from ignorance user. i.e. Flash metering, Auto Focus, etc

   Recently purchase the Digital rebel and I am extremely happy with except there is no PC Sync Terminal adapter available…Trying to find a third party adapter. But other than that it is a great camera picture are crisp and clean. Definitely read the manual if you are a novice to slr. A definite must buy.

   This is a great camera!! My only complaint is if you open the compact flash door it turns the camera off and you loose any unwritten pictures. The camera has so much more to offer than most digitals under $1000. Sometimes a point and shoot digital camera will not get the job done, especially if your taking pictures in low light. The ability to change shutter speed, film speed, and aperature are wonderful features. Be sure to keep the manual close by your going to need it.

   I had recently purchased an Olympus Ultra-Zoom C-770, and for paying almost $500.00 I was VERY dissapointed. Only printing a 4'6 photo left the quality of the print blurry and choppy. So I returned it to the store with little or no hope of ever finding a digital camera that was right for me. I have done alot of research since then, and decided that I would take a chance with the Canon Digital Rebel D300. And let me tell you, this is by far the best camera I have ever used! It is easy to use and the quality of the pictures are to-die-for! The colors are soo crisp and I can blow up a print as large as 11'16 without loosing any of quality. Even in low light or no light shots, the Rebel accomadates any shooting situation. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I am a novice when it comes to any camera, each day brings new experences and I am so excited that I can now look foward to shooting great shots with my new found love, the Canon Digital Rebel D300. So what are you waiting for….? GO BUY ONE TODAY!!! You won't regreat it.

   I have found the Cannon Rebel to be easy to use in my line of work as a Realtor and land broker. The interchangeable lens and ability to use in low light means I can do anything that I could have done with a quality film camera. I do wish I could use some of my large non-dedicated flashes, so far I have not been able to use those. I have found that this camera is great for areaial photography and with 6.3 meg-pix I can blow up areas and still have resonable definition. Tom MILLER gri,fli
