Can i use an ef75-300mm lens on a Canon Rebel 450d Xsi Digital Camera?
I just purchased a Rebel 450d Xsi and i was told it wouln't work on my camera. Plese help!
as said above, EF and EF-S lenses will fit on your 450D, no problem here. in fact, EF lenses can adapt to digital APS-C sensors (that's the category of your camera) and full frame cameras. On the other hand, EF-S lenses will only fit with full frame cameras

can i use the remote for a canon powershot digital camera for my canon rebel xsi?
I'm looking to buy a remote.. and found a nice remote for a powershot… and I have the rebel xsi. Its fairly cheap.. just wondering if one will work on the other.

Any of the three remotes on this page will work with your Rebel XSi. It does not appear that they will work on the Powershot cameras. There are a few Sureshot cameras that two of them will work with. The Cost is $30 for each of them.

Is the SunPak Pro622 flash unit compatible with the Canon digital Rebel XTI SLR camera?
Honestly all flash heads would work.
your real problem would be
1. the connections – if they are hot shoes or plugs etc.
2. you cant use the 3D matrix metering
3. you can't use +/- flash compensation
You can use A and Manual
Right after the shot you can decide on how the image looks and adjust from there. To be on the safe side establish your "standard" so that you would be guessing all the time.
