The main reason stock agencies won't accept P&S images is because of all the issues caused by the tiny ensor. P&S digicams have small sensors that are susceptible to noise and other exposure problems. dSLR's have much bigger sensors.
Any camera with a built-in lens and auto modes is a P&S, although some do have manual and semi-automatic control as well. Many people use their SLR cameras as a P&S in the auto mode as well.

After looking through your camera's specs, I'd say you cannot because there doesn't seem to be this feature on your camera.
As another answer points out, why not rely on the digital info on your picture files and if you haven't noticed, many places print the date on the back of your pictures.
Date stamping is not available on a lot of cameras. To be 100% sure, check your owner's manual.
